When you picture hearing aids, you might envision a large and clunky device. But modern hearing aids have evolved. They’re now available in a variety of styles and sizes and can also be customized for different listening environments. The Hearing Solution has spent more than two decades helping thousands of patients engage with the sounds around them again with a device that is the best fit for their needs.

Hearing Aid Fit Matters Too

Hearing aids today are powerful and highly customizable. The real difference-maker is the audiologist who programs, measures, verifies and supports your hearing system. Most dissatisfaction with hearing aids comes from problems that aren’t about the device:

1. Improper or poor fit

2. Lack of Real-Ear probe microphone measurements

3. Limited education or follow‑up

These issues can be fixed without buying new hearing aids. You deserve better—and that’s what we provide.

Best Practices for Testing & Treatment

At The Hearing Solution, we follow evidence‑based standards to ensure accurate testing, precise fittings and personalized care—whether or not you purchased hearing aids from us.

Your hearing journey with our team includes:

1. Complete Evaluation of Your Hearing System

A Doctor of Audiology learns about the conversations, environments and situations where hearing is difficult. We test the outer ear, middle ear, inner ear and the brain’s processing.

2. Hearing Aid Performance Assessment & Personalized Plan

You’ll try hearing aids from different manufacturers and hear the difference. If you proceed, we provide Real-Ear verification, education and 24/7 tech support.

3. Test Drive

You will take your hearing aids home and try them out in your own environment first.

4. Real‑World Analysis & Connectivity Training

We review device data, connect accessories and your hearing aids to collect sound samples from your environments.

“Provided a full and extensive hearing exam and matched a hearing aid that best met my needs. No high-pressure sales. Very friendly and professional. The hearing aids take a little to get used too but very happy. I Can hear out both ears for first time in five or six years.”

– Jim

5. Progress Checks

Over the next few weeks, we will work together to optimize your hearing aids as your brain continues to change.

6. Fitting & Purchase

The purchase comes after you have mastered using your hearing aids and are hearing with ease.

7. Hearing Training, Classes & Graduation

After three months, you will be ready to graduate from our program. After graduating, you will return every six months for hearing aid performance checks, hearing tests and cleaning. We will also retune and program your hearing aids to meet your hearing and lifestyle needs over time.

At this point in your hearing journey, we start you on one of our auditory training programs. The goal is to improve the skills weakened by hearing loss that a hearing aid can’t fix. The programs can be done in a group setting or on your computer in the comfort of your home.

8. Optimization Appointments (Every Six Months)

Includes deep cleaning, fine‑tuning, wax removal and an annual hearing test.
